1. Eligibility and Account Registration

Age Requirements

Account Creation

  • Maintain and promptly update your account information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

2. Course Enrollment and Access

Course Types and Content

Frame Institute offers various types of courses, each with specific characteristics:

VTCT Qualifications

Regulated vocational training courses leading to recognized qualifications. These courses adhere to strict industry standards and may involve practical assessments and external examinations.

CPD Certified Courses

Continuing Professional Development courses designed to enhance existing skills and knowledge. These courses contribute to your professional development hours.

Masterclasses

Advanced training sessions focusing on specialized techniques or topics, often led by industry experts.

Other Courses

General educational content, workshops, or introductory modules.

Course Access and Duration

  • Access Period: Upon successful purchase and enrollment, you will typically receive access to the course content for a period of one (1) year from the date of enrollment.
  • Extensions: Course access extensions may be available for purchase or granted at our sole discretion under exceptional circumstances.
  • Completion: You are responsible for completing the course within the designated access period.
  • No Download Rights: Unless explicitly stated for specific downloadable resources, course content is for online viewing only.

Course Prerequisites and Requirements

  • Prerequisites: Some courses may have specific prerequisites. It is your responsibility to ensure you meet these requirements before enrolling.
  • Technical Requirements: You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary hardware, software, and internet access to participate in our online courses.
  • Practical Assessments: Certain courses require practical assessments which may involve submitting video evidence, attending in-person sessions, or live virtual evaluations.

Certificates of Completion

  • Eligibility: Certificates are issued upon successful completion of all course modules, lessons, and passing all required assessments.
  • Verification: Certificates may include unique verification codes or links to allow third parties to authenticate their validity.
  • Professional Responsibility: Obtaining a certificate from Frame Institute does not automatically qualify you to perform aesthetic procedures. You are solely responsible for ensuring you meet all legal, regulatory, and insurance requirements to practice in your jurisdiction.

3. Assessments and Academic Integrity

Types of Assessments

Knowledge Check Quizzes

  • Quick understanding tests (typically 5-10 questions)
  • Pass required to progress to next content
  • Unlimited attempts allowed
  • Minimum pass score: 60-70% (as specified per quiz)

Module Assessments

  • Comprehensive review of module content (15-25 questions)
  • Pass required to complete module
  • Limited attempts (typically 3 attempts)
  • Minimum pass score: 70-80% (as specified per assessment)

Final Course Assessments

  • Complete course evaluation (30-50 questions)
  • Must pass for course completion and certification
  • Maximum 3 attempts allowed
  • Minimum pass score: 75-85% (as specified per course)

Practical Assessments

  • Hands-on skill demonstrations
  • May require video submission or in-person evaluation
  • Professional competency standards applied
  • Single assessment with remediation available if needed

Academic Integrity and Anti-Cheating Policies

Prohibited Conduct

Any form of cheating, plagiarism, or dishonest conduct during assessments is strictly prohibited. This includes:

  • Sharing quiz questions or answers with others
  • Using unauthorized aids during assessments
  • Submitting work that is not your own
  • Impersonating another student

Consequences: Violations of academic integrity will result in:

  • Immediate failure of the assessment
  • Suspension or permanent revocation of course enrollment without refund
  • Termination of your Frame Institute account
  • Reporting to relevant professional bodies or regulatory authorities

4. Community Subscription

Community Access

Our Community Subscription provides access to exclusive content and features, including:

  • Video Library: Full access to our extensive library of training videos and recorded live sessions
  • Learning Resources: Comprehensive articles, guides, and educational content
  • Downloads: Templates, guides, and resources for immediate use
  • Live Sessions: Access to monthly live training sessions, Q&A events, and clinical demonstrations
  • CPD Certificates: Earn CPD points for attending live sessions or watching recordings
  • Member Discounts: Exclusive discounts on courses and shop products
  • Priority Support: Enhanced customer support for subscribers

Subscription Plans and Billing

  • Subscription Types: We offer various subscription plans (monthly, annual, trial), each with specific features and billing cycles
  • Recurring Billing: Subscriptions are billed automatically in advance on a recurring basis from the date of your initial subscription
  • Auto-Renewal: All subscriptions are set to auto-renew by default. You will receive an email reminder approximately 7 days before your renewal date
  • Payment Methods: Payments are processed securely via Stripe. We accept major debit and credit cards

Subscription Cancellation

Monthly Subscriptions

  • You may cancel your monthly subscription at any time through your account settings
  • Access to community content will continue until the end of your current billing period
  • No further charges will be made after cancellation
  • You can resubscribe at any time without penalty

Annual Subscriptions

  • To cancel an annual subscription, you must contact our customer support team
  • Access will typically continue until the end of your annual billing period
  • Prorated refunds for annual subscriptions are considered on a case-by-case basis

5. E-Commerce Shop Purchases

Product Types

Our online shop offers a variety of products and services, including:

  • Physical Products: Aesthetic supplies, equipment, merchandise, and training kits
  • Digital Products: Downloadable guides, templates, and resources
  • Event Tickets/Bookings: Reservations for workshops, seminars, or in-person training sessions
  • Gift Vouchers: Digital vouchers for use on our platform

Product Information and Availability

  • Accuracy: We strive to ensure all product descriptions, images, and pricing are accurate
  • Availability: Product availability is not guaranteed until your order is confirmed and payment is successfully processed
  • Pricing: All prices are listed in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable for UK customers

Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges

  • Physical Products: You may return most new, unopened physical items within 14 days of delivery for a full refund
  • Digital Products: Due to the nature of digital products, refunds are generally not offered once the product has been downloaded or accessed
  • Event Tickets/Bookings: Cancellation and refund policies for events are specific to each event and will be clearly stated at the time of booking

6. Refund Policy (General)

Course Refunds

  • 14-Day Satisfaction Guarantee: For individual course purchases, you may request a full refund within 14 days of enrollment, provided you have not completed more than 25% of the course content
  • After 14 Days / Over 25% Completion: Refunds are generally not provided after 14 days or if more than 25% of the course content has been completed
  • Exceptional Circumstances: We may consider partial or full refunds outside of this policy in exceptional circumstances at our sole discretion

Community Subscription Refunds

  • Annual Subscriptions - 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee: For annual community subscriptions, you may request a full refund within 30 days of the initial purchase date
  • Monthly Subscriptions: Monthly subscription fees are generally non-refundable. If you cancel, your access continues until the end of the current billing period
  • After 30 Days (Annual): After 30 days, annual subscription refunds are at our sole discretion and may be prorated

How to Request a Refund

All refund requests must be submitted in writing to our support team at support@frameinstitute.co.uk

Please include:

  • Your name and email address
  • Course/subscription details
  • Purchase date
  • Clear reason for your refund request

We will process eligible refunds within 7-10 business days. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

Ownership of Content

All content available through the Services, including but not limited to course materials (videos, text, images, quizzes), community content (articles, live sessions, downloads), website design, logos, trademarks, software, and underlying code, is the exclusive property of Frame Institute or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Limited License to Users

  • Courses: Upon enrollment in a course, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and view the course content for your personal, non-commercial educational purposes only
  • Community: Upon subscribing to the Community, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and view the community content for your personal, non-commercial professional development purposes only
  • Shop Digital Products: For purchased digital products, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the digital product for your personal, non-commercial use

Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

  • Reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any of the content on our Services
  • Use any content for commercial purposes without our express written consent
  • Remove any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices from copies of materials from our Services
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to discover the source code of any portion of the Services
  • Use any automated means to access the Services or collect data from them

8. User-Generated Content and Conduct

Definition of User-Generated Content (UGC)

"User-Generated Content" refers to any content that you, as a user, submit, post, upload, or otherwise make available through the Services, including but not limited to:

  • Assignment submissions (text, images, videos, documents)
  • Quiz answers (for essay or file upload questions)
  • Forum posts, comments, and messages
  • Profile information
  • Feedback and reviews

Content Standards and Prohibited Conduct

You agree that your UGC and your conduct on the platform will adhere to the following standards:

  • Lawful Content: Your UGC must not violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
  • Accuracy: Your UGC must be accurate and genuinely held (where it states opinions)
  • Originality: Your UGC must be your own original work and not infringe on any third party's intellectual property rights
  • Respectful Conduct: You must not submit UGC that is defamatory, obscene, offensive, hateful, inflammatory, abusive, or otherwise objectionable
  • No Harassment: You must not harass, threaten, or bully other users or staff
  • Professionalism: All interactions within the community forum and during live sessions must remain professional and respectful

9. Live Sessions and Events

Participation

  • Registration: Participation in live sessions and events may require prior registration
  • Technical Requirements: You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary technical setup (stable internet, webcam, microphone, compatible software) to participate effectively
  • Conduct: You agree to maintain professional and respectful conduct during all live sessions and events

Recordings

  • Recording Policy: Most live sessions are recorded for quality assurance, training purposes, and to provide access to attendees who could not join live
  • Consent: By participating in a live session, you consent to being recorded
  • Access to Recordings: Recordings will typically be made available to community subscribers within 48 hours after the session
  • No Unauthorized Recording: You are strictly prohibited from making your own unauthorized recordings of any live session or event

CPD Certificates for Live Sessions

  • Eligibility: CPD certificates for live sessions are issued based on attendance (for live participants) or completion of viewing (for recorded sessions)
  • Tracking: Your attendance and viewing duration may be tracked to determine eligibility for CPD certificates
  • Issuance: Certificates will be made available in your user dashboard after verification of attendance/viewing

  • VTCT Compliance: For VTCT qualifications, you must adhere to all VTCT guidelines and assessment criteria
  • Insurance: We strongly recommend that all practitioners obtain appropriate professional indemnity and public liability insurance before practicing any procedures learned through our Services

Disclaimer of Warranties

  • "As Is" Basis: The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without any warranties of any kind
  • No Guarantee of Results: We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that the results obtained from the use of the Services will be accurate or reliable

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Frame Institute, its affiliates, directors, employees, agents, suppliers, or licensors be liable for any indirect, punitive, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including without limitation damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to your access to or use of, or inability to access or use, the Services.

In no event shall our total liability to you for all damages, losses, and causes of action exceed the amount paid by you, if any, for accessing or using the Services during the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the date of the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Frame Institute, its affiliates, licensors, and service providers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of the Services, including your User-Generated Content or your use of any information obtained from the Services.

  • Technical issues do not extend course access periods

Technical Requirements

Minimum Recommended:

  • Modern browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge)
  • Stable internet connection (around 5 Mbps or more for video)
  • JavaScript, cookies, and local storage enabled
  • Audio output to hear video content

15. Termination and Account Deletion

Termination by You

  • Cancel subscriptions in your account settings
  • Ask us to close your account and, where possible, delete your data (subject to legal retention duties)
  • Any outstanding payments remain due

Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

  • You breach these Terms
  • We suspect fraud, abuse, or illegal activity
  • There are repeated payment failures
  • We reasonably believe your account poses a security risk

Effects of Termination

  • You immediately lose access to the platform and any paid content
  • Subscription benefits end
  • Course access does not continue after termination unless required by law
  • We may retain records needed for legal, regulatory, or legitimate business reasons

16. Dispute Resolution

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Informal Resolution

Before starting formal proceedings, you agree to:

  2. Give us a reasonable opportunity (for example 10 business days) to investigate and respond
  3. Try to resolve the issue in good faith

17. Changes to These Terms

If you continue to use our services after the new Terms take effect, you are taken to have accepted them. If you do not agree, you should stop using our services and cancel any subscriptions before the effective date of the changes.

Assignment

  • You cannot transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms to another person without our written consent
